Rights and obligations

The integrated Research Training Group (iRTG)) supports doctoral researchers in the Collaborative Research Center/Transregio 375 and serves as a unifying element for the researchers. Joint MGK events promote a TRR 375 identity across all locations. In addition, the Research Training Group offers specialist and interdisciplinary further training for doctoral researchers.
The doctoral support provided by the iRTG requires the active participation of the TRR doctoral researchers.

Obligatory are:

  • At least semi-annual project meetings with the first doctoral supervisor (and, if required, with the other tandem supervisor from TRR 375)
  • Participation in the annual retreats, the introductory seminar and the summer school
  •     Participation in the annual plenary assemblies
  •   Participation in continuing education seminars organized by the iRTG
  •     Participation in the monthly short lectures and scientific colloquia


Every doctoral researcher has the following rights in TRR 375

  • Promoting mobility and funding research stays in Germany and abroad
  •     Use of the continuing education programs offered by the respective universities


The TRR 375 also offers 375

  •     Short-term scholarships to integrate young researchers from abroad into the TRR 375
  •         Annual awards for doctoral researchers and students
